Organizing Information

I like to save my photos, music, documents, videos, etc. In separate folders. Doing this helps me keep organized, and makes the set up of the computer look more professional. I like to keep the set up of the folders on my desktop together. In other words, I like clicking one folder, that opens up a selection of a lot more folders. This process is called hierarchical system. 

Tagging: Is a term to describe the marking, saving and archiving of certain websites. for example : Tagging a picture on Facebook.com

Social Bookmarking: Is a method for Internet users to share, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of web resources. 

These two things are important to the digital age because when using any kind of technology . now a days, its important to list the people your sharing and publicizing.
